Meet Moon Child Studio

Hi, I’m Mahsa Yousefi Sellers, the Persian artist and creative soul behind Moon Child Studio.

Art has always lived inside me. I studied graphic design in high school, earned my bachelor’s degree in stage design and theater in Tehran, Iran, and later received a scholarship to SCAD in Savannah, Georgia, where I completed my master’s degree in fashion design.

After graduation, I worked in traditional jobs, but deep inside I knew I was meant to create freely. My husband and I chose a different path and spent a year traveling across the country with our two dogs, living simply, feeling free, and searching for deeper meaning. That journey helped me reconnect with myself, my spirit, and my purpose.

When I moved to the United States, I experienced my very first music festival at 23 years old. In my country, festivals like that did not exist for me, so stepping into that world was life changing. It opened something deep inside my soul and transformed my art from black, white, and gray into a universe of color, freedom, healing, and expression.

That awakening led me to create Moon Child Studio, a world of psychedelic healing art designed to uplift the soul, spark imagination, and remind people who they truly are.

Today, I share my artwork through canvases, prints, clothing, hats, fans, and festival-ready creations. At every event, my goal is to create a magical experience where people feel inspired, seen, and connected.

Thank you for supporting my art and allowing me to keep creating. Every piece you bring into your life means more than you know. I’m so grateful for your love and support, and I wouldn’t be here without you.
